What the role does.
Responsibilities
- Create an annual event calendar for Team Hoyt Denver and present to Board for approval
- Annual event calendar should include a minimum of 4 non-race events per year
- Plan the annual year-end celebration to celebrate our athletes, highlight Team Hoyt Denver’s achievements and connect with sponsors and donors
- For each event, develop the budget and plan event logistics including food and beverage, seating, AV needs, signage, decorations, parking, etc.
- Coordinate Team Hoyt Denver’s participation in expos, community festivals, nonprofit events and other outreach opportunities, ie. Hops and Grapes and WOW Fest
- Determine volunteer needs for each event and solicit volunteers to assist, communicating volunteer assignments, arrival times, and responsibilities
- Oversee setup, execution and teardown of events or delegate as needed.
- Maintain event planning documents on shared drive
- Attend a minimum of 4 THD races per year.
