What the role does.
Rider Athlete Manager Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries and connect with prospective Rider Athletes and families to introduce them to Team Hoyt Denver, explain how the team works and how the onboarding process works.
- Ensure all their applications and forms are completed.
- Help them navigate the portal if needed to signup for races, explaining how the process works including the race reimbursement process.
- Gather t-shirts for everyone in the family and deliver them t-shirts either at their first race or ideally ahead of their first race, so they feel part of the team.T-shirt sizes are listed in the THD portal.
- Once a quarter, reach out to Rider Athletes and families that haven’t participated or haven’t participated recently to maintain connection with the team. Encourage them to participate. Mark anyone as “inactive” in the portal who no longer wishes to be a part of Team Hoyt Denver.
- Track rider miles completed for annual rider miles awards
- Survey rider athletes and their families on an annual basis to understand how they feel about their experience to identify opportunities for improvement. Summarize and present conclusions to Team Hoyt Denver leadership team.
- Attend a minimum of 4 THD races per year.
